A trusted partner of Victorians for more than 100 years, RACV today launched Arcline by RACV – an innovative retail energy offer backed by the quality service and experience Victorians have come to expect from RACV.

Unlike traditional energy retail products, Arcline by RACV gives customers a competitive carbon neutral electricity offer structured around a small, fixed monthly fee with access to Arcline by RACV’s fixed wholesale rates, transparent pricing and with no lock-in contracts.

RACV Executive General Manager Home and Energy Nicole Brasz said RACV’s launch of Arcline by RACV for Victorian customers is part of the organisation’s commitment to building a portfolio of products and services to help Australians transition to a cleaner energy future.

“RACV has offered Victorians a range of products in the Home and Energy space for a number of years now, including RACV Solar, so it makes sense for us to offer a retail energy product to continue to support RACV members and customers in the home,” Ms Brasz said.

“Unlike traditional retailers, there is no mark-up added to our fixed wholesale rates, so Arcline by RACV provides customers cleaner energy with nothing to hide – just a simple and affordable plan, with certainty.

“It also provides an opportunity for Victorians to learn more about our industry leading RACV Solar team’s spectrum of solutions, designed to support your solar, storage and electric vehicle charging needs so we’re moving towards a cleaner energy future together.”

Arcline by RACV is supported by RACV partner Energy Locals – a 100 per cent Australian owned business, voted by Finder as 2021 Green Energy Retailer of the Year.

CEO of Energy Locals Adrian Merrick said he was excited to partner with RACV on their new retail energy offer – Arcline by RACV.

“RACV and Energy Locals are very much aligned on delivering quality products and services for customers, in moving the market away from the traditional energy retail model and being a customer champion,” Mr Merrick said.

The launch of Arcline by RACV follows several recently announced initiatives that demonstrate RACV’s commitment to cleaner energy.  This includes investments in electric vehicle charging companies JET Charge and Re:Start and a new partnership with Hyzon Motors, manufacturers of hydrogen vehicles.
