A makeover undertaken by one of Queensland’s most-awarded architectural firms has seen RACV’s Royal Pines Resort step into a new era on the Gold Coast.

The renovation by architectural firm DBI has given the resort’s rooms and Kalinda restaurant an uplift inspired by the Gold Coast Hinterland, taking inspiration from the championship golf course and surrounding landscape.

The designers have revitalised the accommodation rooms, with the new colour palette featuring wood, brass, and stone finishes, paired with earthy tones, sandy hues, foliage greens and cloudy greys and crisp whites.

RACV Royal Pines Resort Manager, Martin Zumstein, said that the renovations marked an exciting time for the resort.

“These works ensure that our members and guests continue to receive a premium five-star experience that sets a high-end standard for holiday destinations on the Gold Coast and is introducing a new era for RACV Royal Pines Resort,” Mr Zumstein said.

Guests will have their choice of king, twin and spa rooms – all renovated to feel softer and more subdued – complemented by a rich variety of RACV’s art collection. The resort will also unveil a new executive lounge for guests in late 2023.

“The strength of the RACV Royal Pines Resort is in its ability to be different things to different people – and to do all of those things extremely well,” Mr Zumstein said.

“Whether it’s couples, families, friends, golfers or corporate groups, this is the place to be. You don’t have to be an RACV Member to make the most of the resort.

“We’re only a short trip away from all the fun of the theme parks and beaches the Gold Coast has to offer, yet we’re also on the footstep to the Hinterland.”

This iconic Gold Coast resort is also known for its extensive conference centre and ability to host a range of meetings, incentives, conferences and events. From intimate meetings to a theatre-style event for 1800 delegates, the room transformation also supports the business events sector on the Gold Coast.

The resort also boasts extensive fitness and recreational facilities including an elite gym, private sports field and five tennis courts; supporting the national and international professional sports teams that frequent the resort.

RACV Royal Pines Resort also recently launched a revitalised One Spa service, partnering with LaGaia UNEDITED range of luxury skincare products and treatment.

One Spa offers locally inspired rituals, unique water therapies, spacious treatment rooms, private change room facilities and a relaxation area overlooking the beautiful view.
