Illawarra Fly

Madame Tussauds Sydney

The deal: There aren’t many places where you can meet superheroes, royalty and celebrities all in one place – except at Madame Tussauds. Sydney’s famous waxwork museum is offering RACV Members adult entry at kids’ prices until June 30, 2023. Special pricing is valid for off-peak sessions only and includes a digital photo pass valued at $26. 

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre

The deal: Kids big and small love playing around with the iconic toy bricks and now you can visit Australia’s home of LEGO at a discount. RACV Members can get two-for-one adult entry tickets to the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in Melbourne for just $25.92. 

Phillip Island Nature Parks

The deal: Phillip Island is one of Victoria’s most family-friendly holiday destinations, best known for its colonies of seals and fairy penguins. RACV Members can meet those penguins at a discounted rate, with Phillip Island 4 Park Passes bought between June 12 and 30 costing only $56.70 (usually $63). 

The pass includes entry to the island’s famous little Penguin Parade as well as the Koala Conservation Reserve, Churchill Island and the Antarctic Journey at the Nobbies Centre. 

You’ll even get a free little penguin plush toy as part of your booking (or two plush toys per family or booking for four-plus people). Make sure to pick up your new friend from the Phillip Island Penguin Parade admissions between the promotional period. 

SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium

The deal: Enjoy a sea of savings at SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium where both adults and children can experience the briny deep on a budget. RACV Members can get two-for-one adult tickets at a rate of $33.84 (normally $42.30 per person), with tickets for two children coming in at $23.04 (normally $32 per child). SEA LIFE lets you discover more than 10,000 aquatic creatures including penguins, sharks, jellyfish, seahorses and even Pinjarra, a massive five metre-long, 750kg saltwater crocodile. 

WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo

The deal: Meet kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, snakes, spiders, quokkas and so many more critters at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo. Located in the heart of the city at Darling Harbour, the zoo is offering adults at kids prices to RACV Members for a limited time. That means tickets from $25.92 (usually $38.40). 

Waterbikes Australia

The deal: There are many great cycle routes around Victoria, but it takes a special kind of bike to cycle on water. Waterbikes Australia runs waterbike tours out of Sorrento, offering an eco-friendly experience along the Mornington Peninsula’s pristine coastline. Home maintenance and improvements

RACV Trades^

The deal: There’s nothing worse than going to switch on your heater during a cold winter’s day to discover it’s broken. It’s recommended that heaters are serviced annually prior to their peak season to avoid such mishaps, with RACV Trades currently offering 20 per cent off all heating and cooling jobs booked from now until June 24, 2023.

Solar battery rebate

The deal: There are a lot of benefits to installing a solar battery at your property, including potentially reducing your bills (up to $640 per year for a typical household according to Solar Victoria), getting the most out of your solar panels and having a back-up power supply in case of outages. 

After several years, the Victorian Government’s solar battery rebate scheme is finally coming to a close on June 30, 2023. At the time of writing, there are currently less than 1,000 solar battery rebates of up to $2,950 left to claim, meaning it’s imperative you accept your battery proposal so that you can apply for a rebate as soon as possible if you want to take advantage of the offer. 

You’ll need a valid quote from a reputable solar provider like RACV Solar to start your rebate application process. If you do miss out on the rebate, you can still apply for one of 4,500 interest-free loans of up to $8,800 from July 1, 2023.
