The 18 hole par 70 course at RACV Cape Schanck Resort provides for a fun yet challenging round of golf. Designed by renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, the spectacular course features huge greens, large open bunkers, wide tree lined fairways and sweeping ocean views.

tuition

Lessons start from as little as $15 for group clinics, which are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Private tuition from resident coaching professional Peter Tate, is also available at great value rates.

golf shop

For those in need of a quick bite to eat or refreshment, RACV Cape Schanck Golf Shop offers a range of rolls and sandwiches made fresh daily as well as hot and cold beverages, pies, biscuits and sweets. Eat in or take away, the Golf Shop is ideal for a quick lunch or coffee after a challenging round on the course.

 

The Golf Shop offers course advice plus an excellent range of golfing apparel and equipment. Head Professional, Brian Hill and the informative Golf Shop team know all there is about golf and the spectacular 18 hole par 70 course.

conditions of play

RACV Cape Schanck Resort staff and management ask all players to note and adhere to the following conditions of play:

• Shirts must have a collar
• No denim allowed on the course by players or spectators
• Tailored pants or shorts must be worn
• Skirts or pants are allowed for ladies
• Soft spiked golf shoes or running shoes only
• Your booking will remain tentative until full payment is made.
• Refunds will be given only if requested 14 days prior to scheduled day of play
• Alterations to numbers should be advised as soon as possible and will only be refunded if advised at least 48 hours prior to booking (we suggest that you collect money from your group prior to the booking to protect yourself from no-shows)
• If golf carts are required, the organiser will be required to supply a $100 deposit per golf cart on the day of the play, either in cash or by credit card transaction
• To assist with speed of play we suggest that you play one of the following competitions: STABLEFORD, CALLAWAY OR AMBROSE. We are happy to explain to your group the rules of these competitions.
• It is important that your group arrive in its entirety 30 minutes prior to your first booking time
• No alcohol is permitted on the course at anytime. Alcohol may be purchased from our bar after play. Please do not bring alcohol to the course
• The car park and surrounding grounds at Cape Schanck Resort are not available for barbeques or private catering. RACV Cape Schanck Resort does offer catering selections through The Restaurant and conference and event facilities
