RACV in the community

Caring for our members and the Victorian community as a whole is at the heart of RACV’s mission.
We are committed to devoting time and resources to projects, initiatives and activities that have a positive impact in our community.
RACV’s community engagement programs provide financial, in-kind and volunteer assistance to a wide range of Victorian charitable and community organisations.
Support is directed through a number of channels, including:
- Community partnerships and sponsorships
- RACV Community Foundation
- Sir Edmund Herring Memorial Scholarship
- Minor community sponsorships
- Community involvement
We support projects that aim to improve quality of life, relieve suffering and disadvantage, enhance safety and security, encourage innovation and community development, or protect and preserve the environment.
RACV has a long history of assisting Victorians. We have provided a valued service to millions of Victorians since our formation as a motorists' social club in 1903.
As Victoria’s principal membership organisation, RACV takes seriously its broader obligations as a responsible corporate citizen and will continue to proactively support the community in which we live.
