Mr R Herron

Mr Herron was appointed a director on 27 June 2007 and is President and Chairman of RACV Ltd.  He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  Formerly Deputy Chairman of Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), Mr Herron retired as a partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2002.  He is Chairman of GUD Holdings Ltd, a non-executive Director of Customers Ltd, Select Harvests Ltd and a major industry superannuation fund.
 

Mr K W White

Mr White has been a director since 1994 and is Deputy Chairman. He holds the qualifications of BEng (Civil), MEng Sci and MAdmin. An engineer by training, Mr White has spent most of his professional career in finance and corporate activities. He stepped down as the Managing Director of WHK Group Ltd after 15 years in that role on 30 June 2011.  He is a Deputy Chairman of Insurance Manufacturers of Australia Pty Ltd.
 

Mr C L Jordan

Mr Jordan is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of RACV Limited.  Mr Jordan was Chairman and Chief Executive for the Victorian Road Authority, VicRoads from 1992-2001.  Mr Jordan is the Immediate Past President of the World Road Association, PIARC which has some 115 Countries as members.  He is Chairman of Australian Motoring Services, Chairman of Intelematics Australia, a Director of the Australian Automobile Association (AAA), a Director of Insurance Manufacturers of Australia, and a number of other RACV companies.  He is also Chairman of the Wimmera Mallee Pipeline Project, Chairman of the Monash University Civil Engineering Industry Advisory Group and a member of the Victorian Australia Day Committee.  He holds the following qualifications B.E., B. COMM., F.I.E. Australia, FIPAAV., FAICD.

Mr G J Chipp

Mr Chipp was appointed a director in 2008.  He holds a Masters of Business Administration (with honours) from IMEDE, Switzerland and a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy). He is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute and in 2007 was awarded CPM Marketer of the year.  Mr Chipp’s career covers strategic advisory and executive experience in the corporate sector.  He is co-founder and Managing Director of management consultants, Growth Solutions Group Pty Limited, a trustee of the Robert Rose Foundation and actively involved in the AFL Indigenous Community Exchange Program, which he established in cooperation with the AFL.

Mr A Downie

Ms N M Griffin

Ms Griffin has been a Director since 1998 and is Chairman of the Club Membership Committee. She has a Bachelor of Arts, Company Directors Diploma and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Ms Griffin had a career in management and was previously General Manager Customer Operations with a major utility. She was a member of La Trobe University Council for 13 years, where she was Chair of Corporate Governance, Audit and Risk Management. She is Chair of Yarra Valley Water’s Customer Consultative Committee and is a partner in a management consultancy.

Mr C K Hall

Mr Hall has been a director since 1994 and is a past President & Chairman of the Board of RACV Ltd. He is also Chairman of the Board of R.A.C.V. Finance Ltd. He holds the qualifications of Bachelor of Science (Metallurgy), Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and MBA. He is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Formerly managing director of a major Australian investment bank. Mr Hall is former Chairman of GUD Holdings Limited and a Director of Club Assist Corporation Pty Ltd. Formerly Chairman of Victorian Energy Networks Corporation.

Mr B C Hartnett

Mr Hartnett joined the Board in 2008.  He is the Chair of the State Services Authority in Victoria, Former Chair of the Australia Day Committee (Victoria), Chair of Odyssey House (Victoria), Deputy Chair of VicSuper and President of the Rural Learning and Leadership School (campuses at Dinner Plain, Marlo and Glenormiston).  Bruce’s career involved senior management roles in the Victorian Government, ICI, the National Australia Bank, the ACTU and the non-Government sector.  He was a Fulbright Scholar and a Shell Scholar and after his undergraduate studies in Civil Engineering has completed a Masters in Transport Engineering (Melbourne Uni),  a Masters in Town Planning (University of London) and a Masters in Creative Writing (Deakin University).

Ms P M Kelly

Ms Kelly was appointed a Director in 2010.  Ms Kelly has extensive experience in the Financial Services Industry.  Most recently she worked for Suncorp/AAMI where her roles included Executive General Manager Strategy and Business Development Personal Insurance and General Manager AAMI New South Wales.  Prior to that she was a Director & Executive General Manager Life & Superannuation of Norwich Union Life Australia. Ms Kelly is a Past President and Honorary Life Member of the Insurance Institute of Victoria and a former Director of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance. Ms Kelly is a non-executive Director of Legal Practitioners Liability Committee.

Ms M H Kelsall

Ms Kelsall  has been a Director since June 2008. She has a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and an MBA and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Australian Institute of Company Directors. She spent over 20 years in professional practice, including almost ten years as a partner. She is now working as an independent director and has considerable experience in highly regulated industries, which include financial services, health and utilities. She is also an experienced executive coach. Her current appointments include: Chairman, Auditing and Assurance Standards Board, Member International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board, Director Superpartners Pty Ltd and Public Transport Ombudsman Ltd.  

Mr T L O'Hoy

Mr O'Hoy was appointed a director in July 2009. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Monash University and in 2006 received a Distinguished Alumni Award from the University. Mr O'Hoy recently left Foster's Group after 32 years of continuous service and a career that commenced in 1976 as a Cadet Executive with the Australian Beer Business (CUB) and finished as Chief Executive Officer of the Global Beverage Company (Foster's) in December 2008. As a full time director his other directorships include Chairman of the Ponting Foundation, ASG Group Ltd, Cricket Australia, Cricket Victoria and the North Melbourne Football Club. He also serves on the fundraising committee of the Song Room which provides music and arts programs to disadvantaged children throughout Australia.

Ms P Piccinini

Ms Piccinini was appointed a director in 2006.  Ms Piccinini has a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University.  She is a practising Solicitor and Barrister in Victoria.  Former proprietor of Crikey.com and current secretary of local primary school council.  Non-executive Director of Eastern Domestic Violence Outreach Service (Australia).

Ms S Sheed

Ms Sheed has been a director since 2003. She has a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne. Ms Sheed has been a practising lawyer throughout her professional career. She has a strong interest in the future of rural Australia and is actively involved in rural leadership, land and water management and other local community issues.  Ms Sheed is a fellow of the Williamson Community Leadership Program and is a Trustee of Goulburn Valley Base Hospital Foundation. She is a graduate of the Institute of Company Directors, is on the Board of the Fairley Leadership Programme and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria. 
 

Mr J M S Slattery

Mr Slattery was appointed a director in 2011. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from the University of Melbourne. He was a partner in the national legal firm of Corrs Chambers Westgarth, for 27 years, where he practised principally in corporate law. He is a former partner in charge of the Melbourne office, chairman of the International Division of Corrs, and was a member of the Corrs national executive between 1999 and 2009. Since retiring from Corrs, Mr Slattery has undertaken a number of commercial advisory roles, directorships and probono activities. He also farms near Geelong, where he is involved in a number of community activities, particularly relating to sustainability in the agricultural sector.
