Towing Course

 

The course is a practical one day driving course designed to teach you about safely towing, backing and manoeuvring your caravan, boat or trailer.   
        
Using your own car and caravan, boat or trailer, your instructor will teach you:

• Safety and towing regulations
• Pre and post trip inspections
• Trailer dimensions
• Types of hitches
• Loads and loading
• Driving, handling and braking techniques
• Turning, reversing and parking using guides and mirrors.

Weekend and mid-week courses are available with a maximum of two vehicles to one instructor.

RACV members receive a 20% discount off the recommended retail price of each boat, trailer or caravan towing course.
