About the star rating scheme
The Australian STAR Rating Scheme, owned by Australia’s Auto Clubs and managed by AAA Tourism, has been the traveller’s guide to selecting the right accommodation for over 50 years. It’s the only official accommodation certification scheme in Australia offering consistent ratings for approximately 10,000 properties nationwide.
We recognise that places to stay come in all shapes, sizes and types; therefore it is important that STAR Ratings compare ‘apples with apples’.
