RACV is committed to protecting the environment and provides credible information and advice to our members and the general public on environmental matters. RACV develops and adopts appropriate environmental standards in a wide range of our own activities to continue to reduce the organisation’s impact on the environment.

The Royal Pines Resort harvests on-site water and is part of the Gold Coast Council initiative "Recycling - Clean Stream Program". Timers and sensors exist on lighting and fans across the majority of the Royal Pines Resort and guests are asked to conserve energy by turning off lights and appliances and reducing the hot water temperature to 60 degrees or less.
