how to make a claim

A travel insurance policy protects you against a range of possible misfortunes as outlined in your Product Disclosure Statement. If you suffer a claim event during your period of cover, you may lodge a claim.

You must give us any information we ask for to support your claim, such as police reports, valuations, medical reports, original receipts or proof of ownership.

Claims are payable in Australian dollars to you. We will settle claims in Australian dollars. The rate of currency exchange that will apply is the rate at the time you incurred the expense.

If you can claim from anyone else, we will only make up the difference. You must claim from them first.

Please note: Due to the current number of incidents and claims, processing of claims may take longer than the usual 10 business days.

Online claims lodgement is currently unavailable. To lodge a claim download and complete a manual claim form (PDF 104KB).
