Which RACV Resorts provide free Internet for guests?

All RACV Resorts now offer free Internet for guests.

All guests staying at RACV Resorts can now access free Internet during their stay.

How do I connect to free Internet with a network cable?

Once checked in you will be able to connect your device to a wired Internet point, located in most rooms. Your browser will then step you through creating a login for your free Internet access.

If your room does not have an Internet connection point, please ask reception for your most convenient access point.

Can I connect to free Internet with Wi-Fi?

Yes. If you have already set up your username and password simply connect to the 'RACV Guests' network and follow the prompts.

If you have not set up a username and password, Reception will be able to set this up for you.

Where in the Resort can I access Wi-Fi?

Wi-Fi Internet access areas vary at each RACV Resort. Please check with Reception who can advise on the best Wi-Fi locations throughout the property.

How long will my login details stay active for?

Your login details (username and password) will be allocated 24hrs of free internet during setup.  When your login expires you can create a new login.

What if I forget my username or password?

Please contact Reception and they will be able to set up new login details for you.

How fast is the connection?

Wi-Fi access points can connect at up to 54 MB/s. Data links are on corporate grade Internet services. Free Internet access is provided on an "as is / as available" basis. Speed will vary based on the number of users and configurations at each Resort.

Can I connect a second Wi-Fi device?

An additional username and password can be obtained from reception and/or the business centre.

Is the network secure?

Yes, the highest possible security and confidentiality of data, hotspot firewall, internal user isolation, and VPN (Virtual Private Network) are in place, for secure access to the corporate network.

Is my device compatible?

RACV supports most operating systems including Windows, Apple OS, and Linux.

The system works with any recent web browser such Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari. No special software is required.

What online tasks can I perform with this service?

Free Internet is intended for individual use. It is suitable for web-based email, Facebook, Twitter and basic web browsing. Quality of Service is not guaranteed for media streaming applications such as Skype, streaming video, and peer to peer file sharing.

I am an RACV Club Member. Will this use my 4 free hours?

If you are staying as an accommodation guest or attending a day conference on a package, free Internet is provided. You do not need to use your 4 free hours per month.
