Victorian State Treasurer Tim Pallas says the North East Link, the “Missing Link”, needed to complete the M80 Metropolitan Ring Road innately makes sense – the idea of an outer suburban high capacity link has a lot of merit.

At the Melbourne Press Club and the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s post-Budget briefing, Victorian State Treasurer, Tim Pallas MP, responded to RACV’s question about the North East Link. Watch the video to see the Treasurer’s answer.

The interest in completing the Metropolitan Ring Road is subject to Infrastructure Victoria recommending it in its first priority list that is due at the end of this year. You can read more about the Treasurer’s statement and the reaction it generated in the following links.
