Chinese new year dragon

The Year of the Dog kicks off in February, bringing China’s culture to the centre of Melbourne. RACV has offers and events to help you celebrate.

On Sunday 18 February, you can take in the colour and noise of Chinatown’s Dragon Parade, sponsored by RACV, and drop into our marquee on Russell Street.

RACV members keen to learn more about the heritage and culture of Australia’s Chinese community will get free entry to the Chinese Museum in Chinatown from 10 to 17 February.

A Han Dynasty exhibition and museum guided tour exclusively for RACV members will run on Sunday, 11 February and Saturday, 17 February at 2pm (value $12 per person, RACV members free).

For families, the museum provides a special Zheng He treasure hunt map. Kids can scour the museum for answers and win a prize (value $28 per family, RACV members free).

Show your RACV membership card at the museum entry, and get more details at racv.com.au/sycas.
