RACV has bought the former Novotel Forest Resort, Creswick. It will become known as the RACV Goldfields Resort, giving members a 4-star base in the heart of the Victorian Goldfields, Macedon Ranges and Spa Country.
RACV Executive General Manager – RACV Club and Resorts Sue Blake says the addition of the RACV Goldfields Resort to the resorts portfolio gives members an even wider choice of great value accommodation and holiday locations.
“Our other Victorian resorts are based near water attractions. Torquay, Inverloch and Cape Schanck are near the coast, while RACV Cobram Resort is near the Murray River,” Ms Blake says.
RACV Goldfields Resort is on the edge of a forest and in the heart of one of Victoria’s major tourist destinations. It is only 10 minutes drive to Ballarat and 20 minutes to Daylesford and the Spa Country.
“Members can stay at the new resort and enjoy all the history and culture of the Goldfields region including Sovereign Hill, Lake Daylesford, Woollen Mills, mineral springs, festivals and cycling trails.”
The Resort includes a Tony Cashmore-designed 18-hole golf course, restaurant, bar/lounge, pool, gym, and extensive function centre. Ownership of the Resort will transfer to RACV on 5 November.
All RACV members save 25% on accommodation at RACV Goldfields Resort and all other resorts at Torquay, Inverloch, Cape Schanck, Cobram, Hobart, Noosa and Royal Pines on the Gold Coast.
