RACV Noosa Resort and RACV Torquay Resort have made the ‘2017 Trip Advisor's Top 25 Travellers Choice' in Australia for both the best Family and Luxury Hotels.
RACV Torquay Resort was placed 17th in the Top 25 Hotels – Overall category and 15th in the Top 25 Luxury Hotels category.
RACV Noosa Resort was placed sixth in the Top 25 Family Hotels category and 20th in the Top 25 Luxury Hotels category for the fourth consecutive year.
RACV Noosa Resort Manager, Darren McClenaghan said given the huge number of hotels in Australia, the win was a magnificent effort.
“I’m proud, on behalf all RACV Noosa Resort staff, that we’ve received such recognition in an awards pool that is determined by guests, not judges. This is a real team effort and these TripAdvisor awards could not be achieved without all their hard work and friendly, helpful service.”
In its third full year of operation RACV Torquay Resort was also recognised as one of Australia’s best luxury hotels.
RACV Torquay Resort Manager, Dean Newell said the award was a testament to the quality of service provided by his staff. “TripAdvisor can be a demanding audience. Reviewers call it as it is, but we’ve obviously done our job very well attracting new visitors and repeat stays by happy guests,” he said.
Standing at the gateway to Victoria’s world-renowned Great Ocean Road, the 92-room RACV Torquay Resort opened in June 2013.
Other RACV Resorts are located at Cape Schanck, Cobram, Inverloch, Victoria’s Central Goldfields, the Gold Coast and Hobart.
