Le Petit Gâteau Orange Hot Chocolate

This Le Petit Gâteau hot chocolate recipe puts a fun twist on a classic favorite.

  • 1 litre full cream milk
  • 250g of good quality milk chocolate (buttons or broken into pieces)
  • Zest of 1 orange (non-waxed)
  1. Place milk into a pot. Zest orange into the milk being careful not to include the pith. 
  2. Bring milk and orange to a simmer, remove from heat and allow to infuse for 5 minutes. Once milk has infused for 5 minutes pour milk mix through a strainer over the milk chocolate.
  3. Stir well until the chocolate has melted and mixed well. Pour into a mug and enjoy!
