The World Heritage-listed city of Bath boats a rich and fascinating history and is of course famous for its stunning Roman ruins and magnificent Georgian architecture. Bath has long been a favoured destination of members of ‘society’. In this beautifully illustrated lecture, hear about some of the city’s most famous names including author Jane Austen, who was a resident, and Captain Arthur Phillip of First Fleet fame who is buried here.
