US-born marine scientist, researcher and deep-sea shipwreck hunter David Mearns OAM has found and filmed some of the world’s most famous and controversial shipwrecks, including the HMAS Sydney and AHS Centaur in Australia. 

Hear about some of David’s intriguing discoveries over a two-course lunch.  Learn about the careful research and extraordinary techniques involved in finding a shipwreck kilometres beneath the sea, as well as the moving human stories that lie behind each of these oceanic tragedies. After the event, David will sign copies of his new book, The Shipwreck Hunter.
