Strength Training for Arthritis

Research has found regular exercise to be effective in managing arthritis by helping to improve mobility, flexibility of joints and muscle strength, as well as decreasing pain. This eight-week course utilises simple strength training techniques to manage arthritis and make a difference to everyday tasks.

Course One

Dates: Wednesday 17 January - Wednesday 7 March

Venue: Fitness Centre, City Club

Time: Wednesdays, 10.30am-11.30am

Cost: $116 per person, eight-week course, includes one session per week
$204 per person, eight-week course, includes two sessions per week

Course Two

Dates: Friday 29 January - Friday 16 March

Venue: Fitness Centre, City Club

Time: Fridays, 10am-11am or 11am-noon

Cost: $116 per person, eight-week course, includes one session per week
