This is a small club located at the Southern end of Honolulu. Access either by walking or you can catch the bus (check the timetable first). We had dinner on the terrace looking North along the beach towards Honolulu. The view was beautiful. The food was reasonable, good quality pub food and the service was okay. Prices are quite steep due to AUD and beach side location, but it was worthwhile visiting.
Recently visited the Canoe Club for the second time. This is a casual beachside club at the Diamond Head end of Waikiki in a great location. The facilities include a semi private beach with a number of beachside eating/drinking options. The club provides shower and locker facilities (at a small fee) and access to a well equipped gym. As a sporting club there are beach volley ball courts and beachside equipment for hire. Food is bistro standard but the location is outstanding especially in the evening when the view from the Dining Terrace is back down the shoreline to the bright lights of the main Waikiki Beach hotels. The Canoe Club charges an administrative fee for the provision of a temporary membership card but this provides full membership privileges including the right to sign in guests. No cash is used during visits and all charges are booked to the members card and invoiced later with a 20% markup to cover tips.
Upon your arrival at the Pacific Club, please present your membership card, credit card, passport with proof of visitor status and a Letter of Introduction issued by RACV Club. All charges incurred at our club must be settled by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AE Card, China Union Pay or JCB).
