RACV's car owning and operating costs guide
Learn about car operating costs and car servicing costs in 2012.
RACV created this cars guide to offer calculated vehicle operating costs for 101 popular new vehicles from information obtained leading up to June 2012. The calculations include the cost of financing the vehicle, depreciation, scheduled services, registration, insurance, fuel, tyres, etc. The calculations are provided as a guide to the car operating costs of a vehicle over a five year, 75,000 km (15,000 km per year) period.
Please note that on road pricing is estimated from Glass's Guide's figures, check with dealerships for the most accurate and up to date information about on road pricing.
