The annual RACV UCSR study is conducted by the Monash University Accident Research Centre (MUARC), with support from TAC, VicRoads, other state and federal road authorities and motoring clubs.
The MUARC team analysed data from more than 3.6 million crashes in Australia and New Zealand between 1987 and 2007 involving 239 different vehicle types.
