Victorian Electric Vehicle Trial

Applications are now closed for 2012. Third round applications for the household Victorian Electric Vehicle Trial will open in late 2012. Please check back here or register to the EV Trial e-news for updates

All 60 households chosen to participate in the Trial during 2011 received their electric vehicles to drive for three months. Those that have applied to participate in the second round of the Trial in 2012 will be notified by 10 February 2012.

RACV plays a leading role in assisting members to reduce the environmental impacts of motoring and we advocate strongly for the adoption of policies that encourage a wide mix of power and fuel systems that enhance consumer choice and reduce the unsustainable dependence on fossil fuels. Electric vehicles are very much considered to be a part of this future transport mix.
