child restraint evaluation program

RACV’s latest Child Restraint Evaluation Program (CREP) test results demonstrate that not all child restraints are created equal.

CREP tests restraints in three categories; rearward-facing restraints for babies up to 6 months and approximately 12 months; forward-facing restraints for young children aged 6 to 12 months to under 4 years; and booster seats for children 4 years and older. The restraints are rated according to how well they protect your child in a crash and how easy they are to use.
