There have been changes to the way RACV works with DriveMyCar
Please find some frequently asked questions below regarding the DriveMyCar program and your RACV membership.
Owner - What does this mean for me?
DriveMyCar will continue to operate across Australia, and your car will remain on the platform. You will continue to receive the same great service as always. Your RACV membership will expire one year from the date on which you joined, unless you hold any other renewable products or services with RACV.
Renter - What does this mean for me?
DriveMyCar will continue to operate across Australia and your log in will still allow you to rent cars in your neighbourhood when required. Your RACV membership will expire one year from the date on which you joined, unless you hold any other renewable products or services with RACV.
I was an RACV member before I used the DriveMyCar platform – What does this mean for me?
Your membership will continue based on the terms of its existing status. Log in to your RACV account for more details.
I became a member of RACV via DriveMyCar – what does this mean for me?
Your membership will continue until its expiration date, if you wish to remain an RACV member then please contact RACV membership on 13 72 28.
My car has been uploaded on to the system, do I need to do anything?
No. Your car will remain registered on the DriveMyCar site ready for you to make available whenever you are ready.
