How We’re Eco Friendly

The RACV Inverloch Resort has been designed to integrate into its special natural and environmentally sensitive environment. The resort was designed in conjunction with the local council, indigenous landowners and Parks Victoria to ensure minimal impact – visually and physically – on the environmentally sensitive landscape.

The end result is a striking architecturally designed property, which blends in with the special natural environment. It’s built along a ridge overlooking the ocean and is set inside the pristine Bunurong Marine Park and across the road from the Dinosaur Dreaming excavation site.

Over 50,000 species have been planted on the property, sourced from a 25-kilometre radius, meaning the resort doesn’t need to do any watering year-round – a terrific water resource saving initiative. Special wetlands have also been nurtured to provide habitat for birds and aquatic life. The resort also captures rainwater from all of its roof space, which is then used throughout the resort. Sensor lights meanwhile come on only as needed.
