Sicily has come a long way since its most famous wine, Marsala. Today, there is a dynamic wine scene emphasising indigenous varieties such as Grillo, Nero d’Avola and Nerelo Mascalese.
John Portelli of Enoteca Sileno, one of the most respected importers and distributors of authentic Italian wine and food since 1953, will take us on a virtual journey through Sicily, exploring these indigenous varieties over a four-course meal designed by our chefs.
