Fitness Centre

 

Located on Level 1 of the Club, the Fitness Centre incorporates a 25 metre heated indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room, fully equipped gymnasium and group fitness room. All RACV Club members have access to the swimming pool, outdoor wading pool*, spa, sauna and steam room as part of their membership. Learn to swim and stroke correction lessons are also available.

Fitness Centre access allows unlimited use of the Fitness Centre including the gymnasium, group exercise classes and personalised fitness programs. Fitness Centre is included with Active, Executive and Access membership and can be added on for all other memberships at a small additional cost.

 

In-house accommodation guests receive complimentary access to the Fitness Centre during their stay.


It is recommended that new Members complete a fitness assessment and health appraisal prior to commencing use of the Fitness Centre.

 

*Outdoor wading pool operates from 1 November – 30 April.

Our cardiovascular equipment and diverse range of machine loaded and free weights will help strengthen your heart and lungs, help you to maintain a healthy weight, lower your blood pressure and assist you to increase your muscle strength, bone density and endurance.

 

The friendly and highly qualified staff will assist in achieving your goals with specialised programs tailored to your need.

 

Existing Fitness Centre access in the City Club extends to Healesville Country Club & Resort.

 

Children under 16 years of age are not permitted in the gymnasium.

Group fitness

 

Group fitness classes are a great way to get into shape and make friends in a fun and energising environment. Classes are included free as part of your Fitness Centre access.

 

With a wide variety of group fitness classes each week, the Fitness Centre's qualified instructors will inspire you in Pilates, Yoga, Boxfit, Cycle, Aqua Aerobics and many more. 

 

Group fitness classes are also available free of charge for guests staying in-house at Healesville Country Club & Resort.

Personal training

 

Take advantage of the Fitness Centre’s personal fitness training service. Your RACV Club personal fitness trainer, through support and expertise, will keep you moving towards your goals, while maintaining a positive and genuine concern for your progress.

  • Maximisation of your workout time
  • Professional assistance to increase performance in the areas of strength, flexibility, endurance, posture, balance, coordination, and cardiovascular health and fitness
  • Reach or maintain a healthy body weight
  • Learn correct form and technique for cardiovascular and strength training

 

Etiquette

  • You must sign in or swipe your membership card upon entry
  • Equipment must be wiped off after use
  • You must be dry before entry
  • You must bring your own drink bottle
  • Please ensure that when entering and departing the gymnasium that you do so via the level 1 car park

Dress Code

  • No open toed footwear
  • No jeans
  • No offensive T-Shirts / Singlets

Children

  • Children under 16 years of age are not permitted in the gymnasium
  • Children under 12 years of age must be actively supervised in the aquatics areas at all times
  • Children under 5 years of age are not permitted in the Spa
