Great reads for children

Board books

For children up to 3, board books are bright, easy to hold and introduce children to the alphabet, basic shapes, animals and numbers.

Picture books

Engage young imaginations with illustrated works, best suited to pre-school and early primary school children.

Junior fiction

Find popular series and classic chapter books for middle and late primary school children.

Non-fiction

Get simplified explanations on a range of topics for young readers. You’ll also find CDs including nursery rhymes and soundtracks from popular programs.

Borrowing conditions

As a Club Member you can:

  • Borrow up to 15 items at a time
  • Keep borrowed items for 3 weeks
  • Renew items up to 5 times unless you have anything overdue or the item is reserved.

Most items are available to loan from both City Club and Healesville libraries.

Renewals and returns

Items can be returned to either City Club or Healesville in person or via post. Charges apply for shipping.
