Billiards, snooker or 8-ball

Make use of 8 full-sized tables in our world-class billiards room. Get a coaching lesson from resident professional and World Champion, Robby Foldvari. Or participate in our monthly social 8-ball competitions and annual snooker and billiards tournaments.

City Club

Bridge club

We host regular playing sessions and Bridge beginner courses for Club members. The Club is affiliated with the Australian Bridge Federation and engages with the wider Bridge community through inter-club competitions and the annual Swiss Pairs Congress.

Solo

Our solo group is one of our longest standing member interest groups. We welcome players of all skill levels. The group often has lunch in the Bistro after playing. We also plan a solo group trip to Healesville Country Club each year.

This social group is for Club members who are still in the professional stage of their lives. Meet people from diverse backgrounds and industries, develop business connections, and most importantly socialise with Club members at monthly drinks catch-ups and special events throughout the year.

Book groups (City)

The Club has 2 book groups who meet monthly to chat about the book of the month. We provide a new book each month for members to take home and read. Groups dine together after their meeting and enjoy lively discussion, with interesting books selected throughout the year.

Travel group

Join the travel group to discuss intrepid experiences and share tips and recommendations. Most meetings are casual group discussions, while some sessions involve a presentation from members fresh with experiences to share.

Film group

RACV Club’s Film Group meets monthly to watch and discuss a classic film together. Members can stay for lunch in the Bistro for discussion after the movie.

Art group

Join us online for monthly Tuesday catch-ups to discuss all mediums — from impressionist painting to renaissance sculpture. Many members take part, while others simply sit back and listen. All levels of knowledge and engagement are welcome.
