In 2020, we've introduced new Club membership options. Nothing about your current membership is changing - unless you would like to move to one of the new membership options.
This means you now have the opportunity to:
Enhance your Club experience with one of our three new optional upgrade packages. Each option is specially designed to help you get more from your membership, with a combination of benefits for use at City Club and Healesville, food and beverage discounts at any of our eight resort destinations, and access to the new shared working space at City Club. View full terms and conditions.
Nothing about your current membership is changing - unless you would like to choose to move to one of the new membership options.
If you're happy with your existing membership benefits, there is no action required. If you are due for renewal and don’t wish to change, all you need to do is renew your current membership. If you don't upgrade, you'll still be able to access the new shared working space at $50 per visit. If you think you'll want to use this space frequently, we highly recommend considering one of the upgrade packages. Of course, any Members who do not wish to access the new shared working space will still be able to access quiet areas to both read and work in the Library and the Gallery Lounge.
If you don't want to upgrade but would like to find out more about our new memberships click the link below.

We are committed to ensuring the Club remains one of Australia’s best clubs. We have upgraded many of the Club’s new and existing facilities and believe these upgrades are essential to continue to add value to Club membership and ensure we maintain our rich history and strong traditions, but also appeal to a new generation of Members.
The new Club Member packages are designed to better suit the changing needs of our Members and help them to better utilise the new amenities available to our Members.
We will continue to invest in the Club, to add amenities and modernise the space for Members, future generations, their families and guests.

The benefits were designed to better align with Club member priorities. The new benefits will provide more relevant and therefore better value to all Members depending on their interests and priorities.
Yes, you will be provided a replacement club membership card if you upgrade or change your membership.
Yes. Almost 400 members completed online surveys and a further 40 members participated in comprehensive research interviews and concept testing sessions.
This provided us with a good sample of members from all age groups, tenures and backgrounds on their ideas on what it is they like most about the Club now and what improvements they’d like to see in the future.
If you would like to provide feedback, please feel free to do so via the Club website, email clubmembership@racv.com.au or ring on 1300 501 501. We value Member feedback and look forward to continuing to implement changes that are relevant to our Members needs now and into the future.
Members told us about the things they loved about the Club, and what they would change if they could. One of the things that came across strongly was the need to modernise the spaces to ensure the Club remains a place that welcomes future generations of members.
Members will be able to access the new shared working space on a casual or ad hoc basis if they do not want to change their membership through one of the available upgrade packages or membership options. There is a charge of $50 per casual visit that will apply for members or guests.
Members who anticipate that they will utilise the new shared working space regularly would be encouraged to consider upgrading their Club packages to get the best value.
Any members who do not wish to access the new shared working space will still be able to access quiet areas in the Club to both read and work such as the Library or the Gallery Lounge.
The shared working space is not a replacement for the Business Centre, it is a brand-new concept and location that has been purpose designed to address the current and future needs of our Members.
Unlike the old Business Centre, the new shared working space features an open-plan design that's bright and modern, with a range of new services and facilities for members.
It offers a variety of spaces to host meetings, networking events, hide away for a few hours of work, or collaborate with other like-minded professionals.
Healthy grab-and-go food options are also available as part of the space’s food and beverage cafe. Seasonal salads, freshly squeezed juices and delicious catering options for meetings are among the new choices available to members.
Guests (when accompanied by a Club member) will be granted access, with a charge of $50 per visit to also apply.
No.
From 1 March 2020.
If you hire a room in the working space this allows you to access the working space. You do not have additionally pay $50 to access the working space or debit an access pass to the working space.
The shared working space has not been designed as a permanent office. Under Club By-Law 5.11 a Member cannot use the Club Premises as their permanent place of business or business address or that of any other person, firm, company or the like. As a result all memberships and upgrade packages have a limit on the amount of access passes to the shared work space to ensure that the space remains available for use by all members – not just a few.
