The Royal Automobile Club is located in a heritage listed building next to Circular Quay. Its dining room and bar offer views to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. There are 29 accommodation rooms, some of which are smaller or have shared facilities. More details are available on The Royal Automobile Club's website.
We stayed in both September and November 2015. The Club is perfect for an extended weekend visiting family and friends. Feels like coming 'home' Warm and welcoming. Very easy the location no need for a car. Is now definitely our preferred Sydney accommodation.
I have stayed at the Tattersalls Club several times. Each visit has been excellent.
The location of the Club is in the centre of the CBD, on the corner of the
Queen Street Mall.
Parking is available at a commercial car park a short stroll away. If you have
baggage, I suggest you park in a nearby loading zone and unload yourt bags,
then drive to the car park.
The accommodations are modern and of a high standard. There are several dining options. The food and service is excellent.
The staff are friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend this Club as an excellent base when you are staying in Brisbane.
Feedback Rating: Very good
Feedback Message: Four of us stayed in a comfortable older style two-bedroom apartment with full kitchen, dining facilities available in the UH complex which sits in the grounds of ANU. Well located to city and all attractions. Highly recommended. - Feedback left 29/1/09
