AFLW Grand Final Lunch

Ahead of the Grand Final in March, the City Club is hosting the inaugural AFLW Grand Final Lunch, headlined by football stars* Ellie Blackburn, Kaitlyn Ashmore and Chloe Molloy. Get to know the women making AFLW history and hear about their journey into the big league.

Fox News presenter Sarah Jones will join us on the day as MC. Sarah has previously commentated the AFL, Olympic Games and Australian Open.

Ellie Blackburn is currently co-captain of the Western Bulldogs and captained the team to win the 2018 flag, along with winning the Club's Best & Fairest Award.

Kaitlyn Ashmore, now playing for North Melbourne, has brought a lot of speed, excitement, and experience to the team in its inaugural season after playing in back-to-back Grand Finals for the Brisbane Lions.

Chloe Molloy plays for Collingwood. Unfortunately a serious foot injury has ruled her out of the 2019 season after what was a terrific debut season which included winning the Rising Star Award, Club Best & Fairest, and Runner up in the League Best & Fairest.

This lively panel will be discussing the AFLW Grand Final and the future growth of the Women's League. Meet the panel in person and take part in a silent auction to benefit AFL Victoria's grassroots women's football program.
