The first lecture profiles the land of the rising sun, Japan, and tells the story of the making of modern Japan including the events of World War II.
This nation of islands with its incredibly rich cultural heritage is famous for cherry blossoms, ancient cities, marvellous sights, stunning landscapes and incredible cities.
After enjoying a two-course lunch, Kenneth Park traverses the Kingdom of Morocco in the second lecture – from the bustling souqs of Marrakesh to the sands of the Sahara in Erfoud, and up across the Atlas Mountains to the Mediterranean port of Tangier.
