Monthly Medal Final at Yarra Yarra Golf Club

RACV members pose for a pic at Yarra Yarra Golf Club

Wind gusts of up to 56kmp/h greeted participants of the RACV Monthly Medal Final at the famed Yarra Yarra Golf Club (GC).  In typical sandbelt style, Yarra Yarra GC was presented beautifully, however the high winds made conditions unpredictable with lightning fast greens adding to the challenge.  With golf balls near uncontrollable on approach shots to the green, scoring was worse than we have seen previously.

Congratulations to JC who overcame these blustery conditions to win the event. He posted a score of 36 stableford points which when compared to the daily scratch rating was 3-under his handicap!  JC was ecstatic with his round as he collected the RACV Golf Monthly Medal Final Champion plate. Well done to Jose A and Daniel P who also put in a great effort to post 35 and 34 points respectively.

Golf Manager, Angela, was happy to see everyone enjoy themselves despite the weather.  Angela posted a score of 18 points which she was surprisingly proud of.
