Neighbourhood Watch Victoria

Neighbourhood Watch is all about neighbours working together to make our communities better, safer, friendlier places to live. Thanks to thousands of dedicated volunteers working alongside local police, it has become one of Australia’s leading crime prevention programs.

RACV supports Neighbourhood Watch’s community safety programs, helping educate over 380,000 Victorians each year through initiatives such as How Safe Is My Place, Crime Prevention Month and delivery of local Safe Plate Days.

GIVIT

GIVIT connects people in need with essential items and services through a national network of 4,700+ support organisations. They ensure help reaches those affected by disasters or facing hardship such as drought, domestic violence, homelessness, disability or mental health challenges.

As National Disaster and Emergency Partners, NRMA Insurance and RACV work with GIVIT to help build stronger, safer and more connected communities before and after disasters.

Country Fire Authority

The Country Fire Authority (CFA) is Victoria’s volunteer fire service, operating across Victoria to reduce the occurrence and impacts of fire and other emergencies.

RACV supports CFA’s Smoke Alarm installation program providing at-risk residents across Victoria with free smoke alarms and fire safety education. Over 2,000 households have benefitted from this program, making homes safer across Victoria.

Bicycle Network

Bicycle Network is Australia’s biggest bike riding organisation, supported by nearly 50,000 members nationwide. 

RACV and Bicycle Network have teamed up to provide Ride2School’s Bike Ed program to primary school students across Victoria. The program aims to equip children with the skills and confidence they need to ride a bike safely and regularly.

Hester Hornbrook Academy

Hester Hornbrook Academy is a fee-free Specialist Assistance School supporting young people to develop positive pathways through quality education. It caters specifically for students disengaged from traditional schooling with a thriving and diverse community.

RACV partners with Hester Hornbrook Academy to build skills, confidence and job-readiness through real-world learning and workplace exposure, supporting young people into employment pathways including hospitality, automotive and skilled trades.

Yalari

Yalari is a not-for-profit organisation providing secondary education scholarships at leading Australian boarding schools for Indigenous children, creating opportunities that strengthen outcomes for students, families and communities.

RACV partners with Yalari to support Indigenous students from regional and remote communities to build skills, confidence and leadership capabilities. RACV hosts key Yalari events at its resorts and supports the driving lessons program, fostering independence and life readiness.

Live4Life

Live4Life is a health charity that unites rural and regional communities to improve youth mental health, reduce barriers to seeking help and prevent youth suicide. Live4Life communities deliver teen and Youth Mental Health First Aid training, build local partnerships to reduce stigma and support young leaders as mental health ambassadors.

RACV partners with Live4Life to deliver youth‑led mental health and suicide prevention programs in Ballarat and has extended funding for three more years to help expand the program into at least three additional communities.

STREAT

STREAT supports young people facing marginalisation, disadvantage and barriers to employment by creating a sense of connection, safety and belonging. Its programs help young people build wellbeing, stability and the skills needed to thrive in work, home and life.

The STREAT partnership enables young people to receive training and support to pursue careers in hospitality, including on‑the‑job experience, interactive work‑readiness workshops, individual case support and referrals to specialist providers.

Netball Victoria

Netball Victoria is responsible for the management and development of netball across Victoria, supporting netball players, coaches, umpires, administrators, associations and clubs, while enhancing participation and encouraging more people to play.

In partnership with RACV, Netball Victoria delivers grassroots programs that increase inclusiveness and diversity to ensure the game of netball is a safe and inclusive space for all.

Paralympics Australia

RACV Resorts is the Official Hotel Resorts Partner for Paralympics Australia.

The partnership commenced in 2024 and will run for three years, incorporating the Paris Paralympics and the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games in Milano-Cortina.

Midsumma creates programs and events that promote diversity and inclusion, bringing together LGBTQIA+ artists, performers, communities and audiences. The annual Midsumma Festival showcases a vibrant mix of queer culture, featuring local, interstate and international artists.

RACV is a proud Gold Partner of the Midsumma Festival and participates in the Pride March and Carnival.
