RACV proud to partner with Yalari to provide education opportunities for Indigenous children
RACV's partnership with Yalari supports Indigenous children from regional and remote communities to build skills that enhance their wellbeing, career readiness, and leadership capabilities. These skills empower them to make a positive impact in their communities.
In 2005, Yalari was founded with a bold and transformative vision: to provide Indigenous children from regional and remote communities across Australia with the opportunity to receive a full boarding school scholarship for their entire secondary education.
Twenty years on, Yalari has become a beacon of hope and opportunity, grounded in the belief that education is the key to generational change — not just for Indigenous Australians, but for the future of our nation.
Today, in 2025, Yalari proudly supports 251 students on scholarships across the country. Its impact continues to grow, with a thriving alumni network of almost 600 graduates who are now studying at university, working, or undertaking further training. These young leaders are shaping their communities and inspiring the next generation.
RACV is proud to partner with Yalari, providing both financial and in-kind support to help students succeed. This partnership reflects RACV’s commitment to equity, empowerment, and community development.

Building skills and confidence and creating opportunities
RACV hosts a number of Yalari events each year at RACV Resorts across Queensland and Victoria. These events do more than build skills; they actively support student wellbeing, strengthen career readiness, and nurture leadership and governance capabilities that create lasting impact in communities.
RACV also supports the Yalari driving lessons program which is offered to students in Victoria and interstate. These lessons help students build confidence, gain independence, and prepare for life beyond school — whether it’s further education, employment, or personal growth.
As we celebrate Yalari’s 20th anniversary, we honour the thousands of lives touched by its mission. It’s a story of resilience, opportunity, and cultural pride — and RACV is honoured to be part of it.
Together, we look forward to continuing this journey, supporting young Indigenous Australians to thrive, lead, and shape a brighter future.
