RACV Healesville Country Club & Resort announces plans to expand their accomodation offering
RACV today unveiled plans for a $27 million expansion of its Healesville Country Club & Resort in a major boost to regional tourism. Nestled in the heart of the Yarra Valley, just over an hour from Melbourne, RACV Healesville Country Club & Resort offers a serene escape with a touch of luxury.
This development project will feature 12 new premium villas providing luxury two-bedroom accommodation for families and small groups, along with a new golf pro shop and new sports and recreation facilities.
The addition of the new villas and facilities will create over 250 jobs during construction and 26 ongoing positions once operational, injecting an estimated $3.8 million annually into the local economy.
"RACV is committed to investing in regional Victoria and this project is a great opportunity to expand the accommodation options that are available in the Yarra Valley," said RACV Executive General Manager Leisure, Craig Peachey.
"These new luxury villas and facilities will help to meet the growing demand for family and group style accommodation, while enhancing the Yarra Valley’s reputation as a premium tourism and golfing destination.
“During weekends and peak periods, the resort is fully booked in advance, so potential visitors to the region may look elsewhere for their getaway. This expansion will enable the facility to welcome up to 16,700 additional guests annually.
“Our nine RACV Resorts across Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania have something for every traveller – from dramatic coastal scenery like you’ll find at RACV Inverloch Resort – to rich bushland or a bustling city break and we’re delighted to be able to continue to invest in our accommodation options for our RACV Members and guests.”
RACV Healesville Country Club & Resort boasts a variety of beautifully appointed rooms, each designed to provide comfort and stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Guests can choose from options such as the Lawn View Room, Golf View Room, and Premium Mountain View Room, all featuring modern amenities like ensuite bathrooms, minibars, and plush robes. For families or larger groups, interconnecting rooms are available, ensuring everyone can enjoy the breathtaking scenery together.
Beyond the exquisite accommodation, RACV Healesville Country Club & Resort is home to an array of top-notch facilities designed to enhance your stay. Indulge in a relaxing treatment at the luxury day spa, take a dip in the pool, or maintain your fitness routine at the well-equipped fitness centre.
Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the 18-hole golf course, while those seeking leisure can enjoy the tennis court and various dining options, including the Banyalla and Riddell's Green restaurants. The resort's prime location also offers easy access to award-winning wineries, parks, and hiking trails, making it the perfect destination for both relaxation and adventure.
Construction is scheduled to commence in mid 2026 with the new villas expected to welcome their first guests by mid 2027.
