No, you can only purchase an eGift Card. This is an electronic version of a gift card that can be sent to an email address. This means you’ll receive it quicker with no postage fees, perfect for a last minute gift or for shopping right away.
The law requires that most gift cards or vouchers be sold with a mandatory minimum expiry period of three years. The period begins from the date a gift card is sold to a consumer. Businesses can choose to apply an expiry period longer than three years and no maximum expiry period applies.
Each card partner (participating retailer) has their own terms and conditions on usage of eGift Cards. eGift Cards can only be used within the validity period, and it is up to the card holder to use the full value within the validity period.
To check your balance you’ll need to contact the card partner, or participating retailer. Their details should be on the eGift Card, or on the partner’s website or 'Contact Us' page.
