Entertain the kids with this fresh take on pancakes
School holidays are almost here, and you might be wondering how to keep the kids entertained when they’ve already been at home for weeks.
Luckily, Executive Pastry Chef at RACV Healesville Country Club, Kauri Kondraschek, has a fail-safe recipe for kids will love, and one even little hands can get involved in making.
It’s called Pancake Cereal, and really is as delicious as it sounds. Basically, you make up a pancake mixture, pour into a squeezy bottle and dot little pancakes around a hot pan. Flip them over when they start to bubble, give them another minute or so, and you’re done!
The kids will have a great time dressing them up with their favourite toppings – think berries and cream, a dusting of cinnamon or maybe banana and honey.
This recipe makes a great rainy-day activity, or a yummy dessert ahead of a family movie night.
Kauri explains how to make Pancake Cereal in the below video – so get the kids ready and have fun!
