The local Star Wars collection that’s out of this world
Star Wars is one of the most beloved movie series ever made – spawning amazing collections from enthusiasts around the world, including one right here in Victoria.
When Star Wars aficionado, Rob, started collecting vintage figures and accessories from Star Wars, he certainly did not see his collection growing to the size it is today.
A fan of the films as a child, Rob often received Star Wars memorabilia as gifts, marking the beginning of his passion, and the quest to collect everything Star Wars related, especially pieces from the late 70s and mid 80s.
“It’s certainly getting to the point where space in the house is constrained," Rob says. “Everyone has a good chuckle.”
“But I love my collection,” he adds. “I love that it’s my collection, and it’s things that I am really interested in. It’s exactly what I want.”
