Join a LEGO master builder to make your own Melbourne tram.

If you’ve been inspired by Channel 9’s LEGO Masters but are not quite ready to impress Hamish with your skills, Melbourne’s LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is hosting weekly live workshops with master model builder Kieran.

Tune in to a live-streamed Legoland Discovery Centre workshop and unleash your child's creativity.

Budding engineers and LEGO lovers can download a passport to keep track of their creations, along with a weekly activity pack to ensure they have all the right pieces on hand as Kieran guides through each build.

On Sunday 26 April at 11am, the Discovery Centre will collaborate with Visit Victoria and Visit Melbourne to build an iconic Melbourne tram. To attend the live workshop, visit LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Melbourne on Facebook and join the live stream. Download the activity pack from the Discovery Centre website beforehand.

For more inspiration to help cure isolation boredom, Legoland Discovery Centre also has workshops on birds, birthdays and travel.

While the Discovery Centre’s indoor playground is currently closed, you can still stock up online for any bricks you might need for your next creation. It’s a great opportunity to sharpen your skills so when the Discovery Centre reopens at Chadstone Shopping Centre you’ll be ready to make the most of its 10 build and play zones, 4D cinema and two unique rides.
