There's a quick, easy and free way for Victorian motorists to find the cheapest fuel available near their location: the Fuel Finder feature on RACV's mobility app, arevo. Knowing when and where to fill up will ultimately mean more money in your pocket.

How to use arevo to find cheap petrol nearby

arevo's Fuel Finder feature helps users save money at the fuel bowser by providing specific petrol pricing from fuel retailers that's regularly updated. It covers both the Melbourne metropolitan area and regional Victoria – a boon for road trippers keen to explore more of the state.

The Fuel Finder includes an interactive map that allows users to browse and compare prices at petrol stations – meaning they can make educated choices on where to fill up locally. There are often substantial price variances for fuel even in the same suburb or town, so using the Fuel Finder allows drivers to shop around for the best deal for fuel anywhere and at any time.

You can even personalise your search options by filtering your preferred types of fuel and retailers of choice. You can also sort the results by lowest prices and shortest travel distances to petrol stations, helping motorists maximise their savings and convenience.

Once you set up your custom searches for your local area, the arevo app will save all of your settings and deliver you regularly updated data.

Save up to 13c per litre on fuel

You can also save up to 13 cents per litre on petrol or diesel up to 150 litres per day at participating EG Ampol service stations when combining the RACV Member 5 cent fuel offer with the Woolworths and EG Ampol deals.

Simply scan your RACV Member card (or the daily online voucher barcode) at the register for 5 cents off per litre.

You can then stack on partner discounts for more savings. Spend $30 at Woolworths and scan your Everday Rewards card or Woolworths receipt for an extra 4 cents off. Plus, spend $5 or more in-store at participating EG Ampol service stations for a further 4 cents off.
