Our commitment
Care for our future
We care about a cleaner energy future, investing in energy reduction across our properties and implementing a wide range of sustainability initiatives that focus on energy, waste and water.
Cleaner energy
- Energy supplied from renewable sources across sites
- Smart energy controls for heating and cooling
- Light fittings replaced with LEDs
- Rooftop solar panels through RACV Solar
- Electric Vehicle charging stations available to guests for a fee
- Efficient pool and exhaust systems using variable speed drives
Sustainability
- Removing single-use plastic where possible and using compostable takeaway cups
- Replacing single-use bathroom amenities with large format dispensers
- Recycling of glass, cardboard, textiles, e-waste, printer cartridges, oil and green waste
- Providing guests with the option to reduce water wastage by not having their linen changed daily
- Installing irrigation from sustainable sources such as natural springs to water our gardens
Care for our community
We are passionate and committed to having a positive social impact in our community. Our resorts and clubs bring a range of benefits to their local communities.
Examples include:
- Investing in solar energy installs for bushfire-prone towns
- Weekly donation of meals to not for profit Southern Peninsula Community Group
- Promotion of local businesses through indirect sales of local attractions
