We're committed to delivering the same exceptional service and experience our Members and guests expect, while ensuring we meet COVID-Safe guidelines.

Latest updates

In response to recent announcements by the Victorian Government, the following RACV services are open and operating with COVID-Safe requirements in place:

  • RACV Resorts & Club
    • Our Victorian and Tasmanian Resorts
      In line with RACV’s conditions of entry, all staff, Members and guests aged 12+ will need to be fully vaccinated or have a valid medical exemption to visit or stay at our RACV Clubs and Resorts in Victoria and Tasmania. 

    • Our Queensland Resorts
      In line with RACV's conditions of entry, all staff, Members and guests aged 16+ must be fully vaccinated or have a valid medical exemption to visit or stay at any of our RACV Resort properties in Queensland.

  • Home Assist and Home Trades & Services
    • All quoted works and non-urgent trades.
  • Home Security installations and services
  • RACV Solar installations and services
  • Drive School
    • All Drive School instructors must be fully vaccinated by 26 November 2021 and have already had their first vaccination.
    • Drive School instructors can refuse lessons to non-vaccinated people.
    • All students will be asked to comply with COVID-Safe practices before entering the vehicle and during the lesson.

What you can expect when you visit us

There are a few changes to the way RACV Resorts, properties and retail stores operate to help keep everyone safe and healthy. Here’s what you can expect next time you visit.

  1. Before you arrive

    • Download your COVID-19 Digital Certificate from Medicare or the myGOV app
    • Check our operating hours and book onsite services in advance
    • Check the latest COVID-Safe guidelines
  2. When you arrive

    • Check-in using the COVID-Safe QR code
    • Show your proof of vaccination or medical exemption
    • Wear a face mask when required
    • Follow the latest COVID-Safe guidelines
  3. While you’re here

    • Maintain a 1.5m distance
    • Check-in each time you use a service
    • Reduce contact with cashless payments
    • Let us know if you see something unsafe

What you can expect when we come to you

When we visit you to assist at home or on the road, we’ll take every precaution to keep everyone COVID-Safe. Here’s what you can expect, and how to get ready.

  1. Before we arrive

    • When you call, we’ll ask you to notify us if there is a COVID-19 risk at the property
    • We’ll work with you to assess the risk and determine how to proceed safely
    • If anything changes before your booking date, let us know
  2. When we arrive

    • We’ll ask a few standard safety questions to assess if there is a COVID-19 risk onsite
    • We ask that you wear a face mask when required
    • Follow the latest COVID-Safe guidelines
  3. While we’re there

    • We’ll wear a mask (in line with work safety requirements and government advice)
    • Maintain at least a 1.5m distance
    • Minimise contact with surfaces and clean regularly where contact is required
    • Reduce contact with cashless payments and electronic documents

Staff vaccination

Our frontline staff are vaccinated in line with government requirements to ensure the ongoing safety of our staff, our Members and all those we interact with.

Check-in and vaccination status

We’ll ask you to check in via QR code and show proof of vaccination (or a valid medical exemption) when visiting or staying at an RACV Resort or Club property in Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania.

Contact tracing

Where appropriate, we’ll ask to record your contact details to help with contact tracing if any COVID-19 cases are reported.

Face masks

Masks must be worn in line with guidelines. If you have a lawful reason not to wear a mask, we may ask to see written evidence of this.

Physical distancing

We’re continuing to follow social distancing guidelines across all our venues and services.

Hygiene and cleaning

We’re continuing to provide increased cleaning and hand sanitiser stations.

Reschedule your booking

In addition to your cooperation with our public health and physical distancing measures, we also ask that you reschedule your visit to RACV locations and postpone any RACV service bookings if you or anyone you’ve been in close contact with:

  • Is feeling unwell and displaying cold or flu-like symptoms
  • Has been diagnosed with COVID-19
  • Has arrived from overseas/interstate in the past 7 days and is required to self-isolate.

If you've recently visited an RACV location and have since been diagnosed with COVID-19 or you've been at a public exposure site, contact our COVID Hotline to let us know. Open daily, 8am - 6pm.
