If you have car, motorcycle, caravan or boat insurance, you can do this online.
For all other policies, call us on 13 72 28 so we can do this for you.

We can only discuss and make changes to an account with the Executor of the Deceased Estate once we have been sent the required documents. There are several types of documents we accept:

When you’re ready, call us on 13 72 28 and let us know which account needs to be cancelled. We will then send you an email so you can send us the required documents.
If you prefer, you can bring these documents in to your local RACV shop to cancel the account in person.

You can visit our Find Your Member Number page to locate your details. You’ll need to enter your name, date of birth and postcode.
Alternatively, you can use your email address to login.

Only one email address can be used per RACV online account. Make sure the address entered hasn’t been used for another RACV online account. If it has, you’ll need to re-register your online account with an email address that hasn’t been used before.
An account is locked for 30 minutes after 5 unsuccessful password attempts. This is done to ensure the security of your account. After 30 minutes, you can reset your password.

If you haven’t registered, you’ll need to complete our registration form to receive access.
You can easily update your contact details in your online account.
Go to ‘My details’ (you’ll be asked to log in if you haven’t already).
From there, you can see and update your:
To update your name or date of birth, you’ll need to call us on 13 72 28.
Important: changing your address might impact your products. If this is the case, we’ll give you a call.
We’re continually making changes and improvements to our online services. Keep an eye out for future updates. In the meantime, you can contact us.
Once a change of address has been submitted online, it can take up to 6 days for the new details to appear. We’ll contact you if we need more information to process the change.
When you log in to your online account, you’ll see all your products listed on the main dashboard. From there, you can see your insurance policy numbers, product expiry dates and whether a payment is due.
For Club memberships, you can see how many years you have been a member and recent transactions.
