RACV’s advocacy programs help give Victorians choices in how and when they travel, and provide information to help them live safely and affordably in their home. RACV advocates for Victorians to have more choice, and to have information available to help them make those choices.
RACV’s advocacy campaigns have led to programs such as the level crossing removal program, changes to Victoria’s road rules, and improved communication about major disruptions to the public transport network. Our road rules information campaigns have informed Victorians about major changes to Victoria’s road rules, including lane filtering for motorcycles and slowing down when passing emergency services.
