RACV’s RoyalAuto brand has won a major national communications award.
RoyalAuto won for Impact, a multi-media, multi-platform investigation of the effects of road trauma on survivors and their families in Victoria.
The work, which was published in print, online, on television and in social media for RACV’s RoyalAuto brand, won the Single Article of the Year (large publisher) category in the national Publish Awards.
The article competed with work from Marie Claire (Pacific Magazines), and The Australian Women’s Weekly (Bauer Media).
RoyalAuto is also a finalist in two Australian Magazine of the Year Awards, which will be presented next month in Sydney. The categories are Best Use of Multimedia and Best Feature.
Earlier this year, RoyalAuto won a Melbourne Press Club Quill Award for excellence in journalism, also for Impact. The multi-media project that won the award can be seen at racv.com.au/impact.
RACV Publisher Alison Dean says the awards are “a testament to the quality of work that can be produced by a small, dedicated team of professionals”.
“We hope the series will continue to impact people’s behaviour on the road.”
