What will happen to the cars?
When we temporarily suspended the service earlier in March, we removed all 50 RACV Car Share vehicles from the road. We’re currently assessing a range of options for the future of the vehicles.
Does it mean RACV is not committed to Car Share?
We’re still committed to transport choice for all Victorians. Our journey planning app arevo supports this by helping you decide which transport option will most effectively get you from A to B, whether you choose to travel by Car Share, bike, foot or public transport.
What does it mean for the arevo app?
arevo will no longer offer RACV Car Share as a feature; this decision enables us to focus our effort on partnering with external providers for the benefit of arevo users.
The app will still provide the best route to get Melbournians from A to B however they choose to travel.
