This rum cocktail recipe is perfect for a night of wining and dining, or just a casual drink.

When we think of rum, what typically comes to mind is a slightly sweet taste, as well as one that’s dry with underlying hints of burnt woodiness.

Made from sugar cane, rum loses some of its sweetness in the distilling process, which is why we’re left with those dry notes, something rum drinkers love.

Rum is a spirit that is largely underrated according to our friends at Bourke Street Green, who have been using the versatile ingredient to create delicious cocktails everyone will love all year round, including a rum cocktail recipe featured below.

And what’s great about this rum cocktail is it’s still sweet enough to double as dessert. Whether you’re entertaining friends at home, or enjoying a casual dinner with a loved one, serve up a round of these cocktails and satisfy everyone's sweet tooth.

So, grab the ingredients listed below and watch this short video on how to put it all together.

Tip: Get a bit creative with a garnish for your cocktail, like orange peel.
